Technical Specifications
- Technical Name: Fluopicolide 5.56% w/w + Propamocarb Hydrochloride 55.6% w/w SC.
- Formulation Type: SC (Suspension Concentrate) which is a smooth liquid flowable form.
- Mode of Entry & Action: Dual systemic and translaminar activity. Fluopicolide disrupts the pathogen’s cell structure by targeting spectrin-like proteins, while Propamocarb stops mycelial growth and spore development.
- Resistance Management: By combining two active ingredients from completely different FRAC chemical groups, it prevents fungi from building up resistance.
Target Crops & Diseases
The product is engineered to stop fast-spreading, moisture-driven water mould diseases:
- Potato: Late Blight (Phytophthora infestans)
- Cucumber: Downy Mildew
- Tomato & Onion: Downy Mildew, Late Blight, and Purple Blotch
Recommended Dosage & Application
- Foliar Spray Dose: 2.5 ml to 3 ml per litre of clean water.
- Per Acre Coverage: Generally requires 400 ml to 600 ml mixed in 200 litres of water per acre. (A 250 ml bottle will comfortably cover approximately half an acre).
- Best Practice: Apply preventively before the disease takes hold or at the very first visual symptom. Ensure uniform coverage on both the upper and lower leaf surfaces
