- Active Ingredient: Fosetyl Aluminium 80% WP
- Mode of Action: Moves upward (acropetally) and downward (basipetally) through the plant, attacking pathogens while stimulating the plant’s natural defense mechanisms.
- Rain-Fastness: Absorbed into plant tissues within 1 hour of application.
- Target Diseases: Downy mildew in grapes, and Azhukal disease and damping-off in cardamom, alongside Phytophthora root rots in various crops.
Dosage and Application
- Standard Dosage: Mix 2 to 2.5 grams per litre of water (approx. 400 gm per acre in 200 litres of water).
- Critical Warning: Do not mix with copper-containing products or apply soon after copper sprays, as it creates an acidic reaction causing severe phytotoxicity (leaf burn); maintain at least a 14-day gap
